Robert Lewis Jr.

Atlanta Site Director

Robert’s broad based background leading and managing volunteer recruitment initiatives, fundraising campaigns, and corporate social responsibility programs within the nonprofit sector has impacted children & youth, families and the elderly for over 20 years in Illinois and Georgia. He has served on a myriad of boards and committees that implement creative strategies designed to support gaps in service of under served individuals in urban and rural communities.

He had an opportunity to manage former President Barack Obama’s My Brother’s Keeper (MBK) initiative in Fulton County, Georgia where they matriculated to become one of the exemplar communities in the Nation. The accomplishments of the group afforded Robert and a MBK participant an opportunity to meet President Obama, visit The White House, participate in National Seminars and most importantly impact the lives of hundreds of youth in Greater Atlanta.

Robert is a graduate of Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, where he earned B.S. in Psychology. He’s most proud of his two children graduating from Texas Christian University. In his spare time, he routinely seeks new adventures to test his mental and physical limits (i.e. boxing, running events and obstacle courses).
