Torrey Fingal

New Orleans Site Director

Torrey Fingal has been with Juma since its expansion into New Orleans in 2012. He began as an Enterprise Assistant, helping to get the business off the ground and later became the Site Director. Torrey has worked to build Juma’s presence in New Orleans, overseeing all programs, partnerships, and enterprise operations which employ over 50 young people annually. Through his efforts, Juma expanded its enterprise to the world-renown New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival (also known as Jazz Fest) and pilot a new program, YouthForce, which links low income youth to high-wage, high-growth industry internships in bioinnovation, media arts, and healthcare.

Torrey possesses the gift to inspire young people to operate to their full potential and capacity. This ability opened the door for him to work with Juma and encourage youth to be the best that they can be.

Torrey received his BS in Chemistry from Xavier University of Louisiana where he graduated cum laude. He currently resides in the New Orleans area with his wife, Alaina, and their two daughters, Tori Michelle and Alyssa Jade.
