Director of Venue Operations
Alvin Yu is a proud alumni of JUMA class of 2007. Prior to his return to the organization, Alvin was involved in banking and small business management and earned a degree in Business Management & Operations along the way. His very first role was as an assistant in the Social Enterprise Department where he thrived and advanced. He has a unique perspective on providing meaningful work experience and running a sustainable enterprise.
Alvin is responsible for the execution of Juma Ventures’ nationally recognized Social Enterprise operation in nine (8) markets: San Francisco, Oakland, Santa Clara, Sacramento, Seattle, New Orleans, Atlanta, and Houston. Today, Juma holds staffing contracts with (25) Convention Centers and Professional Sports & Entertainment venues during Major League Baseball (MLB), National Football League (NFL), National Basketball Association (NBA), Major League Soccer (MLS) events.
He oversees the Enterprise daily operations, training infrastructures and business development for JUMA.
