Lucia Fernandez-Palacios

Executive Director, Corporate Partnerships & Marketing

Lucia joined Juma in 2016 to build the organization’s marketing function. Over time, her responsibilities expanded to include Business Development, and she now focuses on revenue-generating initiatives. During her tenure at Juma, Lucia has also led strategic projects such as the Juma Box (a temporary enterprise launched during the pandemic) and the Employer Training Series.

Prior to Juma, Lucia spent more than 20 years in corporate marketing with a focus on multicultural advertising. Her last corporate post was at OMD, Omnicom’s leading media agency, where she helped establish the organization’s multicultural vision and worked with blue-chip clients including Bank of America, AT&T, Hyundai, Hewlett-Packard, and The Clorox Company.

Inspired by the resilience and grit of Juma’s youth, Lucia is passionate about generating support to expand opportunities for young people.

A native of Spain, Lucia holds a bachelor’s degree in Marketing from C.E.N.P. in Madrid.
