In 2012, Juma expanded its social enterprise operations to New Orleans. Juma New Orleans offers year-round employment to 60 youth at Mercedes-Benz Superdome, Smoothie King Center and the NOLA JazzFest.

Our Local Impact

Since 2012, Juma New Orleans has employed over 170 youth who have earned over $125,000 in wages–all while developing career skills and receiving financial education and academic support.

By 2020, we expect to have employed over 400 youth who will collectively earn nearly $500,000.

Our goal is to serve as a launch pad for youth into future career and educational opportunities, moving them from low-skill to middle-skill work so they can earn a family-sustaining income.
